We are your Long Beach Firefighters.

The Long Beach Firefighters Association, Local 372, (a local affiliate of the International Association of Fire Fighters), was organized in 1933. 

The mission of this Local is to organize all sworn firefighters of the Long Beach Fire Department; to cultivate a closer feeling of friendship and goodwill among our members; to promote a higher understanding of our calling; to protect our members against injustice;to secure for them agreeable working conditions, wages and other benefits; and to aid and support families of firefighters killed or injured in the line of duty.

The organization supports various charities throughout the wider Long Beach area to help improve the community and promote closer relationships with the citizens they serve.In the past years they have given financial support to and attended events for: Camp Fire, Red Cross, Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation, Special Olympics, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Equality California Awards Dinner, just to name a few. The Local has also provided services for a wide variety of community events such as: MLK Day of Service, Earth Day events, Camp Fire Annual event , Touch-a-Truck, Friends of Belmont Shore, Carmelitos Skate Party, Long Beach Day Nursery, Grand Opening of Michelle Obama Library, Bluff Park NeighborhoodAssoc. Community Events and many others throughout the year. The Local believes in equal opportunity for all and is proud to serve and represent such a diverse community.
