Long Beach Firefighters Association
The Long Beach Firefighters Association serves as the voice of the over 400 professional Firefighters of the Long Beach Fire Department.
Our mission is to protect and advance the cause of Long Beach Firefighters and to improve the lives and working conditions of the men and women who have made public safety their life’s work. MISSION
The Long Beach Firefighters Association is an active participant in local politics, endorsing both candidates and causes that promote the well-being of the community and of public safety professionals. Our unwavering dedication to our Firefighters and our community ensures the continuing respect of those whom we serve.
As the City’s first responders, Firefighters understand that a community’s quality of life is founded on the strength of its public safety.
As members of the California Professional Firefighters (CPF) and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), we also participate in legislative advocacy on the state and national level and have helped produce a string of successes in the areas of firefighter health and safety, retirement benefits and employee rights.
